Unfortunately, fans hoping for brand new footage from the film are out of luck, as the TV spot is simply a shorter version of the teaser trailer released in April.

  • Filming of The Avengers: Infinity War is on full force and while we don’t have much to talk, behind the scenes are quite a thing now.

Earlier this week Robert Downey Junior has posted on his Twitter account a photo of him, Mark and Benedict enjoying a lunch together.

Then Mark posted on his Instagram, on National Selfie Day, the Science Bros reunited. The film is set to be the reunion of the characters who developed a close relationship throughout the previous two Avengers movies before Banner decided to literally jet off of Earth. Check the photo below:

A post shared by Mark Ruffalo (@markruffalo) on

Both of the Science Bros actors will appear in Marvel Cinematic Universe films ahead of Avengers: Infinity War. Iron Man is set to play a considerable part in Spider-Man: Homecoming which hits theaters in July while Banner will be resurfacing in Thor: Ragnarok in November.

Since their last meeting in Avengers: Age of Ultron, both characters will have undergone serious changes by the time Infinity War rolls around. Tony Stark felt the guilt of the Avengers’ actions and his own creation of Ultron and voted to side with the government and force the team to work under their guidelines. Banner will have explored the cosmic side of the universe with Thor, encountering alien life for the first time since the Chitauri attempted to invade New York.

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos.

Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.

  • Yesterday (17) the Bowery Hotel received its fourth annual gala to benefit the Turtle Conservancy, which also honoured some notables like Edward Norton, Drew Barrymore, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and actor Mark Ruffalo.

The Avengers star swore his spirit animal is a turtle. “It always has been,” he exclaimed. “I was in Brazil shooting a movie about 10 years ago and I walk into this indigenous craftsman’s shop and he said to me, ‘Your spirit animal is a turtle.’ I’ve always felt like a turtle. I’m very slow, methodical. I kind of go at my own pace. I like my quiet time. I’m an ADHD tortoise.”

Ruffalo admitted that accepting an award was a mixed blessing, because “there are a lot of really passionate people on the front lines who don’t get any kind of accolades. . . . I really feel like I’m here on behalf of them. I’ve only been a spotlight for their voices and hard work.” (Vogue)

  • The first teaser for Thor: Ragnarok has thundered in, and it looks awesome! Take a look below:

    [su_youtube url=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7MGUNV8MxU” height=”320″]

Directed by Hunt For The Wilderpeople’s Taika Waititi, Thor’s threequel was described by Ruffalo as a “universal road movie”.

    The official sinopse says:

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Thor: Ragnarok hits the US theaters on November 3.

  • The current issue of Entertainment Weekly – now on stands – has the first look inside Thor: Ragnarok. Including the film plot:

When we last saw Thor, he was flying off to figure out who was manipulating the Avengers at the end of Age of Ultron. Eventually, he hears rumblings of trouble in Asgard: His evil brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), has been impersonating their missing father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins). Loki’s rather lax governing leads to the reemergence of an imprisoned Hela (Cate Blanchett). Thor’s initial encounter with Hela gets him blasted to Sakaar, a barbaric planet ruled by the charming but nefarious Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), a tough, hard-drinking warrior hiding out on Sakaar brings the god to the Grandmaster. “Thor is a bit of a fanboy for the Valkyrie, the elite women warriors,” Hemsworth says. Thor is then forced into becoming a gladiator, which leads to his haircut and the loss of his trusty hammer.

Sakaar’s most popular and successful gladiator? Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk. Comics fans will recognize this plotline as part of the popular Planet Hulk series. “He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies,” Ruffalo says of this new Hulk. “He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.”

Once Thor and Hulk unite, Ragnarok becomes a sort of road-trip film, with director Taika Waititi drawing inspiration from movies like 48 HRS., Withnail and I, and even Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The director particularly wanted to show off Hemsworth’s comedic abilities, only recently exploited in films like Vacation and Ghostbusters. “He’s so good and underutilized in that department,” Waititi says. “He’s legitimately one of the funniest things in this film.”

Fans will also see some familiar faces, like Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange. The New York-based sorcerer met with Thor in the post-credits epilogue of Doctor Strange, and he will help the Asgardian locate Odin. Teases Feige, “There’s not a whole lot that takes place on Earth in this film, and that’s one of the things that does.”

    Sounds fun, huh?

  • Last Wednesday (08) Mark attended in New York the amfAR Gala. He presented his Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson with an award for her work on the subject of HIV/AIDS.

Mark praised Scarlett for her dedication to philantropic work.

“Scarlett is no armchair humanitarian, she’s the real deal. It’s probably no surprise to you that we live in turbulent times, but if there are any young men or women out there that are looking for a role model, they need look no further than Scarlett Johansson.”
